Privacy Policy
Someone's Life (“누군가의 일생” in Korean) is made by an independent developer. It collects nothing about you. There are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts and no servers that receive your data.
What stays on your device
The lives you live, your choices, the “last line” you write and your settings are stored only on your device, and in the app's widget on the same device. We cannot see them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Share links
When you share a life, the link contains only a random number (the “fate number”) that lets the app recreate the same birth. It does not contain your name, your choices or anything about you. The text and card you share contain what you choose to post. The website someone.indiehack.kr is a static page hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP addresses) to serve it; we do not run analytics on it.
Tips
Optional tips are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details or Apple Account information.
Maps
The birth scene shows Apple Maps imagery of the country you were born in. Apple's privacy policy applies to map data; the app does not use your location.
Children
The app is intended for ages 12 and up. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
